The Group's basic ophthalmic services include treatments for a wide range of common eye diseases, including cataracts, glaucoma, squint, ocular fundus diseases, ocular surface diseases, orbital diseases and pediatric eye diseases, the cost of which are partially eligible to be covered by public health insurance programs. The Group continued to devote significant resources on the procurement of cutting-edge medical equipment for the treatment of eye diseases and expanded the use of advanced treatment regimes, and premium medical equipment and consumables, which further raised the quality of the Group's medical services, and in turn increased the patient retention rate returning to the Group's ophthalmology hospitals to purchase treatment for other basic eye diseases.
