Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include the Group's technology development, customer service, patient education and marketing, organizational operation management, providing patients with high-quality and diversified eye health services and full life cycle eye health management through the construction of key disciplines and characteristic disciplines, assisting the CEO in formulating business development plans and evaluating the Group's business performance.

Education

Mr. Liu Hongyan graduated from Yanshan University in Hebei, the PRC and obtained a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in engineering in July 1992 and March 1995, respectively.

Experience

Mr. Liu Hongyan was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of the Group in November 2017. Prior to that, Mr. Liu Hongyan served as the Director of the Operation Department of Beijing Chaoju from January to November 2017, responsible for formulating and implementing the operational objectives of the Group's operating entities. Prior to joining the Group, from June 2006 to June 2014, Mr. Liu Hongyan served as the National Sales Manager of Alcon (China) Ophthalmic Products Co., Ltd. Prior to that, he worked at Allergan (Hangzhou) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. from June 1999 to May 2006, successively serving as a salesperson in the tool department and a regional sales manager in the medical equipment department. He has been deeply involved in the medical industry for more than 25 years.
